In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

And Satan swore to mislead the children of man from the Devine path…

Yes! Satan, this ruthless enemy of man, has clearly stated his decision of misleading mankind by saying to Allah (SWT): “Surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path. Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones." (1)

This way Satan made a firm decision to deceive mankind by whatever way possible to lead them to failure and delude every person by a distinct approach.

And the way that he possibly has chosen to deceive the followers and lover of Amir al-Muminin (PBUH) could be a wrong understanding of this statement that with having the devotion to Ali (PBUH) no sin will affect your heart and soul, and you will not be subject to Devine punishment.

Therefore the Imams (PBUT) have strongly rejected every misunderstanding that could have been made by the followers. Imam Baqir (PBUH) said to Jabir:

“Jabir, Does the one who claims he is a Shiite and devotee of us Ahl al-Bayt finds that enough (and sees himself needless to perform the acts of worship)?  While, by Allah, he will not be counted a Shiite except that who is careful about his duty to Allah (SWT) and obeys the rules of Allah.

Jabir, they don’t get distinguished except with humility; humbleness; trustworthiness; constant remembrance of Allah; fasting and Prayers (Salat); kindness to parents; helping the of poor, needy, debtor and parentless; truthfulness neighbors; reading the Quran; and keeping the tongue from speaking about people except for saying the good of them; and they are known in their acquaintances and family for their trustworthiness in all aspects.

Jabir, one might think that (the only measure for eternal salvation) is claiming: “I like Ali (PBUH) and accept his Wilayah (Mastership)”, and at the same time not be a person of action.

O Jabir! By Allah, there are no means to seek closeness to Allah except obedience and performing the rules of religion, and we have no means to acquit (the claimer of Shiism with no action) from fire…

The one who is an obeying servant of Allah is our devotee (and will be safe from fire), and that who does not obey Allah is an enemy of us (and will be subject to punishment). And there is no way to our Wilayah and devotion except action and piety.”(2), (3)

The Shiites should get to think that what this baseless overconfidence is that has fooled them and has put them to the way of Satan? They are conned to the extent that they don’t even pay attention to the words of those whom they hope for their hand. Those nobles firmly speak: “Woe unto you, don’t get deceived, our Wilayah can not be attained without performing the religious musts and keeping away from sins.” (4)
