I am a lady of modest attire,

whose heart burns with raging fire!

I am the mother of Hassan (a.s.) & Hussain (a.s.)

One was poisoned, the other was slain!

My father was Prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.) he died leaving me sad!

After his death, the Muslims went cold-blooded and bad.

The Messenger’s family was imprisoned, tortured & killed,

What were our crimes? What was fulfilled?

Our first Imam Ali (a.s.) was murdered with a poisoned sword

As he lay in ‘Sajda’ to Allah (swt) our Lord.

Tragedy of Kerbala was a lesson for mankind to learn,

To fight against every Yazeed, at every turn!

Yazeedi Islam was to drink, gamble & commit open sin,

Whose ways are you following?

Forgotten Zain-ul-Abedin (a.s.)?

Sajjad (a.s.) shed tears blooded red!

To save Islam, Hussain (a.s.) gave his head!

All the Imams preached ‘salaat’-

So Ummah of Rasool (s.a.w.) why neglect your ‘wajibat’?

In Muhurram, you cry for Zainab’s grief -

As you cover your heads for a brief!

You send curses to Shimr for all that he did,
But then expose your true colours & reveal all that you hid!

Making mockery of ‘hijaab’- Have you no shame?

Sisters in ‘Imaan’ – Islam is no game!

They gave us ‘Surah Nisa’ – For guidance as beacons of light!

But still ‘Kuffar’ system confuses you - Believing wrong is right!

This fashion world is just a stepping stone, for all to one day leave.

So is it not better now, you repent your sins, practice and believe!

Bollywood films are Satanic, that destroys Islamic ideology by day!

These and otherworldly attractions lead you astray!

Time waits for no soul - young, old, black or white.

Angel of death could come knocking anytime,

So fear Allah’s (swt) might!
