Mohamed- The Prophet with the Best Character!
Submitted by Azra

64:8

68:4 And thsou (standest) on an exalted standard of character.

33:21

33:21 You have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.

We are blessed to be the followers of a prophet who was a person of the best character.  No matter what situation or who he faced, his character always remained at the highest level of perfection!

Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) was most wise, intelligent, patient, brave, just and kind person.  He was so generous that a piece of money never remained with him.  He led the most simplest of lives.  He sat, ate and slept on the ground like a slave; mended his own clothes and sandals; milked sheep, and performed other menial tasks.

Most of our Prophet’s garments were white and in putting on his clothes he began on the right side.  He was particularly clean and whenever he performed the wudhu, he always cleansed his teeth by rubbing them with a stick called ‘miswak’.

Prophet Mohamed (pbuh) was very respectful to all.  He treated people with kindness and courtesy.  He never abused people.  He responded evil with good.  He was first in saluting and shaking hands.

Other than his beautiful character, the Prophet possessed certain special miraculous traits as well. Light beamed continually from his forehead.  His perspiration had a pleasant smell such that his fragrance lingered after he had passed by a place.  He saw behind as well as in front of him.  He spoke every language.  An animal he rode never became old.  All creatures honored our Prophet (pbuh), every rock and tree he passed bowed and saluted him.  When he passed over soft ground he left no trace, but on hard rocks the impression of his feet remained.
