1. Salam alaikum. I am currently doing my A levels: chemistry, biology, physics. I would like to carry on doing some sort of science degree but I'm not sure which field exactly I would like to move on to. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters, me being the oldest.
2. I think the biggest challenge is the hijab and the issues that Shia Sisters especially face, are especially on topics such as azadari, the mehdi. In terms of hijab, there are quiet a lot of muslims where I live but not the ones who are fully active. For example, the only times that the scarf comes on and the namaz is recited is during the holy month of Ramadhan, but I guess you find seasonal muslims everywhere. Seeing this it makes me feel low. It's like there's no one who can share with me their bond and sistership.
3. Advice to Shia Sisters: Always stand up for the truth. Do not feel shy to talk about your religion especially Shiaism since we know that it is the right religion and we have our 14 masomeen and the Ahlulbayt to guide us to the right path. ALWAYS protect your hijab and remember what Bibi Zainab a.s. had to go through to save Islam; she had to sacrifice her family both from maternal and paternal, her hijab and modesty, humiliation. If you ever face a dilemma, just think what would have the 14 masomeen done if they were in your place. hope that helps :)
4. I would love to see more active members and would also like to analyse nahjul balagha with the help and duas from our Shia Sisters after having completed the analysis on Hadithe Qudsi. I would really like to see sisters participating and sharing views. Well done to ShiaSisters.ne, that's all I can say. It is the best site for Shia Sisters. I like the fact that this forum deals with educational stuff rather than offtopic as most forums do.
