1. My name is Shabnam (nick name Shabu) I am a QURAN and ISLAMIC STUDIES teacher and have got my own centre.

2. One of the biggest challenges Shia sisters face in the west are keeping up with the society as well as religion (being aware of what is halal and haram). For example: When going out with a group (friends/colleagues), it is more difficult for a Shia girl to refuse to eat/drink something or go to a certain place (disco etc.) because it does not follow the rules of Islam. However, the others may not understand and so she would face difficulties due to this.

3. My advice to other Shia sisters: Do not to give into peer pressure because although it may help them in this world, it will not help them in the hereafter. Also remember Imam – e – Zamana is watching.

4. Please could you add more quizzes for each Islamic month so that we can increase our knowledge and also could you add Sura – tul - Jumma in the Multimedia section of the website.
