Interview With Raziqueh

1. I'm a journalist/sub-editor working with Khaleej Times, Dubai. An Indian to the core, I'm very proud of my roots. I love to read poetry, write prose, watch the clouds go by, stare at the rainbow and catch raindrops in the monsoons. Quite organized at some things and totally crazy at others. I can be quite dangerous. I carry explosives. My words will blow you up!!!!

2. There are myriad problems being faced by Shia women all over the world. In India, there's a wide economic gap between the rich and poor. Education is hardly given any preference as girls are married of quite early. They are not even aware of their Islamic rights. They are dependent on their husbands life-long and sometimes have to even take in his atrocities. If the women of the society are not progressive (mentally) how will the next generation prosper?

3. Women are an integral part of the progress of any society. We need to realize our own potential so that we can see the worth of others around us. Each of us is special. We just need to understand how worthy we are!

4. I love pictures. Maybe can have a forum on pictures; Pictures taken by the sisters themselves on anything nice, funny and interesting or any happenings around the world.
