Fidaha Abooha- Masuma-e-Qum

May her father be sacrificed for her!

It has been narrated that one Friday, a number of Shia went to Madina to meet Imam Musa Al Kadhim (a.s.) to get some questions answered.  When they reached the house of the Imam, they were informed that he was away on a journey.

The group decided to write their questions on a piece of paper and leave it with the family so the Imam could answer them when he returned from his journey.

After a few days, the group decided to return home.  Before taking on the journey, they passed by the Imam’s house to say farewell and to get the answers to their questions.  The Imam was still not there, but the questions had been answered by Lady Fatima (a..s.), the, at that time 6 year old, daughter of Imam Al Kadhim (a.s.).

The group was satisfied with the answers.  On their journey home, they happened to meet Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (a.s.) who was then returning to Madina.  They told Imam about the events that had occurred.  Imam asked to see the paper with the answers.  Imam found the questions answered correctly and eloquently, and he remarked:

FIDAHA ABOOHA
May her father be sacrificed for her.

Imam repeated this phrase 3 times.  This same phrase had also been used by the Prophet for Sayyada Fatema Zahra (a.s.)
