To prepare for the Arrival of our Imam Mahdi, we need to make sure that we are truly following the right path. We must follow all of Allah's commands without doubting Him. By following the right path, we will Inshallah be alive when the 12th Imam reappears. We also have another job which is reminding others about the truth, and that Allah is always always there, and he knows everything. We need to make sure we are doing our duties as a shia sisters like praying namaz on time, wearing our hijab properly, representing Shia Islam, not sinning, and always thanking Allah and asking for his forgiveness. Imam Mahdi has said: "The benefit that people will have from me during my Ghaybat is the same as the benefit people have from the sun, even though it may be invisible behind the clouds." "I know what happens to you in you life and I do not forget your rememberance." "I am the last Imam, and because of me, Allah keeps the Shia safe." |

We are living in an era where our most beloved Imam (as) is away from us. At this time it is our chief duty to ponder on the fact that Imam’s reappearance also depends upon us (ummah). Today we should look at ourselves & check whether we are prepared for Imam’s return. Are we eligible enough to live in his rule? We being Shia sisters, our main duty in this era of immorality & spiritual ignorance, is to make immense effort to guard our Hijabs well. Not only the Islamic dress but we should observe hijab from our heart, we should observe hijab in our eyes & our minds too. Observing proper Hijab is the first step to the ‘Great preparation For Imam Mahdi (as).’ Keeping this thing in mind, I am trying all my best to make my hijab stronger. I have also started reciting ‘Doa-e Ahad’ regularly after namaze fajr. And I am trying to be regular in reciting ziyarate A’shura daily. I have also tried to be polite to people & help them as I can and overcome my egoistic nature & be humble to all my colleagues at school, and have tried my best not to speak a rude word to my parents. And the most important thing, I have been asking for constant forgiveness for my great sins that keep us away from our most awaited Imam Mahdi (as). Woe to us that our sinful eyes cannot see him weeping over the sins of his shias. Because our sins pierce him like arrows. If we really love him, then how can we see him wounded only because of us? I pray to Allah that he gives me the required strength, Eeman, Sabr and everything that is necessary to survive in this era and successfully prepare for His(atfs)’s return. |

There are certain duties we have to carry out whilst waiting in order to prove that we are his followers and to prepare ourselves for the time when he comes, these duties include: 1.Reciting duas for his safety and success daily and praying for his quick reappearence. also reciting ziyarat and greeting him daily. writing of ariza should be encouraged as a regular habit and not an annual practice. 2.We must always bear in mind that the true ruler of the world is the 12th imam (a) and all other kings and presidents are sitting in positions that donot rightfully belong to them. our loyalty should be directed to the imam (a) and not towards the others. 3. we must always be aware of the fact that the enemies of islam are constantly making changings in the true islam and we must keep away from these. we should be sad because imam is in concealment and cannot come and deal with the enemies. this can be shown through our duas and munajaat. 4. we must look for ways to preserve the true islam. this can be in any way open to us e.g. by writing books, translating them, holding workshops, personal studying, teaching, sharing inforamation, talking to other people etc. 5. just as we give charity (sadqa) when a family member travels or undertakes an important task to give them safety and success, we must also do the same for imam. our intention should be that we are giving sadqa for the safety and protection of imam. this is not because he needs it but to show our loyalty and love for him. 6. we should always try to perfect ourselves in our morals and akhlaq and guide our communities such that we are true muslims. we must not forget to advocate good deeds (amr bil maruf) and advocate against sinful practices (nahi anil munkar) as these are the fabric of any muslim society. only by guiding eachother will we stay on the right path. 7. when we do elect representatives of our religious communities and groups we must choose people who believe in the imam and follow the shariah. choosing the wrong leaders is a responsibility we will have to answer for, to both the 12th imam and to allah (swt) on the day of qiyamah. 8. whenever we speak of him i.e mention his name, we should stand if possible and place our right hand on our bowed heads as a sign of respect. this has been taught to us by the 8th imam (a). |

Amirul Momineen Ali (a.s.) said: “Await for the reappearance and do not despair of the divine mercy. Because the best deed in the eyes of Allah, the Great and the Mighty is to wait for the Reappearance. It is the duty of those who are believers.”- Al Khisaal vol.2 Pg.616. I am preparing for the arrival of the 12th Imam by obeying his recommendations and making my Imam known to people by his way and speech. |

"O You Who Believe! Fear ALLAH And Be Among The Truthful Ones" (TAUBAH-119) 1) LOVE: Holy quran has ordered the love of ahle bait (a.s).this love has made obligatory upon every muslim.Today,nobody is closer relative of the Holy Prophet(s.a.w) than Imam-e-Zaman (a.t.f.s). Since long every Momin is waiting for Reappearence of Imam-e-Zamana(a.t.f.s.),some duties are implemented which are to be performed.But the answer to the question is upto me how am I preparing for it?Since "Awaiting is great worship',I have also been doing same.As just "Awaiting" without preparation doesn't make any sense.If guests are to be coming in my house I can't sit with just mere excitement, but I have to prepare my house,clean my house and decorate it for the forecoming guests.I have to be well-prepared so that there shouldn't any regrets from the guests.In the same manner,if Imam(a.t.f.s.) were to be reappearing,I have to clean my soul where my body dwells.I have to present best of my worships and best of my abilities to Imam( a.t.f.s.).But it doesn't mean to sit in one place and chant & pray.Apart from "Awaitng,Sadqa Sil-e-Rehem etc.some other task are to be carried out which determine activeness and readyness of the individual for the Imam's( a.t.f.s.) army.Here again the query arises that every person or I myself,being a female,connot join the army or become the soldier.I need to prepare myself in a such a way that I may be called as 'Helper of Imam' whenever he( a.t.f.s.) reappear.It cannot be denied that Imam(a.t.f.s.) will spread JUSTICE and PEACE after the World had filled with oppression ignorance and injustice.Being a Student of Nutrition,I am trying to bring awareness among the forthcoming Generation about their health so that they can be active and strong enough to join the army.Health plays a vital role in coordination with life's task.Even in the eye of Islam,the food taken should be good enough for health.Even in case of females,I can,through my work and occupation,help the pregnant women and mothers to have their child healthy and strong for those times.Though every work is hard but not impossible to be carried out.I am performing duties which are required but same time I am preparing what I can.In these way or other I can help prepare myself for arrival of Imam Mahdi( a.t.f.s.). |
